Zambia landscape!

Lusaka is the capital of Zambia and by all means, it's a city.  Now if you need a policeman or emergency help, it might be hard to come by, but there are 2 malls, nice restaurants and even a KFC drive thru.  What more can I say!!  But as Amanda shared, if you need anything - banana, phone talk time, electricity - you can buy it at any stop light and on the side of the road.  That was their original drive thru!

The compound slums surround Lusaka and the roads are mostly all dirt and rocks, no markings and and not much order.  The goal is to not get stuck in a deep rut or hole.  Individuals sell anything they can.  I don't have many pictures of this because we were asked to be considerate of the people.  They are bothered by the cameras.

When you get outside of the city and compounds, you begin to see beautiful scenery.  Below is the rural parts of Zambia.  Talk about beautiful sunsets.
