Day 2 of CampLIFE

Day 2 of CampLIFE was a wonderful day.  Simply put, there are 6 new believers in the Kingdom!!  We have blessing times with each child and that is our opportunity to inquire about their lives, how much they eat, what they struggle with, etc. and it's also the time that we share the Gospel with them.  Several that I had last year said after hearing it both last year and this year at camp, they were ready to receive Christ.  It was such a thrill to pray with and for them.

The theme this year is the Armor of God and as they learn about each part of that, they are gaining confidence that they can trust the Lord in protecting them against evil.

This year camp is being held out at the Legacy Center on the hilltop at the Tree of Life.  It is such a beautiful setting and much more comfortable.  We're actually sitting at tables outside instead of on the ground.  Then imagine if you can 1,000 children in the Legacy Center singing and dancing at one time.  I hope to get some video of that today to share because it's amazing.

The time is going fast with our family and emotions are beginning to flow.  Please pray for our hearts to not hurt too badly when leaving on Saturday morning.  It has been such a joy to be with them and so special to see Lilly do new things.  While we've been here, she has started pulling her mom's face to her's and kissing her, and she signs please without being prompted.

Better get my day started.  This is our longest day with the kids.  Tomorrow we go out into their communities to witness.  I am uncomfortable there so that too can be a prayer request, that I would feel completely comfortable with the kids as we walk their community and have nothing that interferes with the task at hand.
